Ela Banerjee (she/her) is the Community Partnership Manager at Voice of Witness, an
award-winning oral history nonprofit dedicated to amplifying the voices of people
impacted by, and fighting against, injustice. Ela was previously a StoryBooth Facilitator
at the national oral history project, StoryCorps, where she recorded over 100 community
audio stories to be archived at the Library of Congress. Ela received her BA from UC
Berkeley, where she studied cognitive science, creative writing, and education. The
proud daughter of Indian immigrants, she currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
